Prior to her tenure at the Museum, Grayson was editorial assistant on the catalogue\u00a0Nayland Blake: Behavior\u00a0(2008) and\u00a0the monographic essay for\u00a0Ghada Amer\u00a0(2010); coauthor\u00a0of the catalogue\u00a0essay\u00a0\u201cPinaree Sanpitak: Quietly Floating\u201d (2010); and author of\u00a0\u201cDisruptive Disguises: The Problem of Transvestite Saints for Medieval Art, Identity, and Identification,\u201d which appeared in\u00a0Medieval Feminist Forum in 2009.\u00a0 She\u00a0received\u00a0her MA in Contemporary Art &amp; Curatorial Studies from Columbia University\u00a0and is currently\u00a0finishing her Ph.D at the Graduate Center, CUNY, where she focuses on contemporary art, feminist theory, and museum
