Adam Frezza<\/strong> is a multi-disciplinary artist working across drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, installation, and design. Frezza received an MFA in drawing and painting from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL in 2007. His art plays with the idea of integrating physical and ethereal substance. Loopholes in science, religion, and everyday life allow Frezza to make art that suggests new potentials for how we experience what we think is actually going on around us. Through corporeal and visual means he illuminates invisible forces that cosmically forge certain tangible substances into our contemporary life; highlighting how these seemingly elemental substances have endured a turbulent, biased, and manufactured history.<\/p>\n Frezza has exhibited at The Williamsburg Art and Historical Center, Brooklyn, NY; Keller Gallery at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA; Flux Factory, Queens, NY; Raccolte Frugone Museum, Genoa, Italy; and Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast, Northern Ireland. He has participated in artist residencies at Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, NY; and the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, VT. Frezza has been featured in several publications including New American Paintings, Arts in Bushwick, AiB Radio, Brooklyn Magazine, and Time Out New York.
