\"Stephanie<\/p>\n

Stephanie McMahon<\/strong> received a BFA from the School of Art and Design at Alfred University and MFA in Painting from The University of Texas at Austin. McMahon is a recipient of The New York Foundation for the Arts Strategic Opportunity Stipend and an individual artist grant from the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. She was an artist in residence at Cit\u00e9 Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2008. Recent exhibitions include \u201cSubject Object\u201d at Ebersmoore Gallery in Chicago, \u201dGrey Matter\u201d at The Painting Center (NY), a solo show at Kent State University (OH), and group exhibitions at Flanders Gallery (NC), Creative Research Laboratory in Austin, TX and Young Painters Exhibition at Miami University, OH. Her work has been reviewed on \u201cHyperallergic\u201d and published in Cantanker Magazine.
