Bridging the Divide is an ongoing series of community-engaged artist fellowships at New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) developments. NYCHA provides affordable housing for 400,000 lower-income New Yorkers.\nFor inquiries: info@art-bridge.org<\/span><\/a> or (646) 450-1463<\/h4>\n

About the Program<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Selected artists engage with residents via several months of workshops. Through this engagement, artists create artworks that amplify the voices of residents \u2014 their cultures, histories, talents, challenges, joys, etc. The resulting exhibitions are displayed at hundreds of feet long, on the construction fencing that surrounds the NYCHA development.<\/p>
