Responding directly to sentiments shared by residents, the artwork is also a memorial\u2014honoring those lost to Covid-19 and gun violence. A Bronx resident for decades, the artist references the practice of mandala making to offer healing and relief to the community<\/p><p>Dre*Ali is a multi-disciplinary artist working in screen printing, sculpture, video, photography, computer animation, painting, drawing, and collage. Infusing imagery with spiritual symbolism, he thinks of his work as \u201cSpiritual Pop.\u201d His original designs took him across the world as a featured artist at \u201cWU-Lab\u201d exhibition in Paris, spring 2017.
